This bright 1960s bungalow is situated a short walking distance from one of NZs best surfing beaches; Hickory Bay. You'll be staying on a working farm- nestled amongst trees and native bush, with an elevated view of the pastures and coastal cliffs eastward.
The cottage was historically used as managers accommodation, therefore almost every room boasts a view of the farm. The house is a calm and bright space, tastefully decorated in a fresh, fun and cheerful manner. It has a large outdoor living area- with access to the deck from almost every room; a recently renovated kitchen; unique timber-crafted bathroom; and lots of cosy spots to read a book in. Many of the original 1960s features still remain- the matai floors, timber cupboards and the steel windows. We're confident that the moment you walk in the door, you'll feel relaxed and refreshed. It's a great opportunity to disconnect from life's busy-ness and switch off your phone (seeing as there is no coverage here anyway!)
