With two options for accommodation, located just a short walking distance from one of NZs best surfing beaches - Hickory Bay.
You'll be staying on a working farm, nestled amongst trees and native bush, with an elevated view of the pastures and coastal cliffs eastward. The remoteness is the beauty of the place.
​The Cottage is a bright 1960s bungalow.

A calm and bright space, tastefully decorated in a fresh, fun and cheerful manner. We're confident that the moment you walk in the door, you'll feel relaxed and refreshed.

Prices start $495/night (for 2 people)
$50 per additional person, up to 8-10* people ($25 per child under 11, kids under 2 years free)
Standard beds for 8 people. ​
One-off fees for larger groups will be communicated upon application.

Minimum 2 night stay.
Minimum 3 night stay on long weekends.

​The Cabin is a quaint, cosy former shearers quarters.
​
Before its renovation, The Cabin was used to accommodate the many shearing gangs that worked at Hickory Bay over the years. Mostly now it's about surfing as much as possible and relaxing in between. Walking into The Cabin you'll feel like you're instantly on holiday, which is kinda what it's all about, right?
